The main theme of the Yajurveda is to explain man-made karma, however it cannot be said that in this Veda there has been no lecturer other than karma. From the Yajurveda, deep thinking is received on philosophical subjects like God, life, nature, creation, life and death etc. Along with the philosophical element, sociology in which the basic rules of human welfare, varna and ashram system, respect for women, etc. are mentioned in seed form. The Yajurveda throws light on the spirit of the nation and the contribution of human beings to the nation, and suggests ways to strengthen the nation. The Yajurveda also preaches on the importance and protection of the environment. The peaceful universe will be here only if their balance is maintained and they remain separate from pollution and defects. Thus the Yajurveda preaches on the importance of environment. This Veda teaches many subjects, such as medicine, gravity, agriculture, animal husbandry and cow protection, Mathematics, minerals. Presented book is Hindi Bhashya (Translation) by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. In addition to all the topics mentioned above, this book also includes other subjects. This commentary meets the criteria of science and philosophy accomplished by the process of absolution. While the other commentary is only with ritualistic rituals, the commentary is full of cosmic and supernatural knowledge. There is an abundance of practical knowledge in this commentary. The commentator has given evidence of Nirukta, Ashtadhyayi, Taittiriya Samhita, Shatapatha Brahmin in terms of proof of Bhashya meaning, which proves authenticity of Bhashya's style. This mantra is in accordance with the good of all mantras and useful subjects in life. The subject of Yajurveda is not only ritual, but it is described in it, spirituality and philosophy, creation and salvation, moral and moral teachings, psychology, rationalism, social philosophy, national spirit, protection of environment. Apart from the poetic element, there exists in the Yajurveda, useful topics like unity of the humans worldwide.

यजुर्वेद का मुख्य विषय मानवोचित कर्म को बताना है तथापि यह नहीं कहा जा सकता कि इस वेद में कर्म के अतिरिक्त कोई अन्य विषय व्याख्याता नहीं हुआ है। यजुर्वेद में से पृथक् ईश्वर, जीव, प्रकृति, सृष्टि-रचना, जीवन-मृत्यु आदि दार्शनिक विषयों पर गहन चिंतन प्राप्त होता है। दार्शनिक तत्व के साथ-साथ समाज शास्त्र जिसमें मनुष्यों के सर्वहितकारी नियम, वर्ण और आश्रम व्यवस्था, नारी सम्मान आदि का मूल, बीज रुप में उल्लेखित है। राष्ट्र भावना का और राष्ट्र में मनुष्यों के योगदान पर यजुर्वेद प्रकाश डालता है और राष्ट्र को सबल बनाने का उपाय बताता है। यजुर्वेद पर्यावरण के महत्व और उसकी सुरक्षा पर भी उपदेश करता है। यजुर्वेद का मन्त्र "द्यौः शान्तिः.-यजु.36-17" अनेक स्थानों पर दष्टिगोचर होता है जिसमें समस्त ब्रह्माण्ड सभी के लिए शान्तिदायक हो ऐसी प्रार्थना की गयी है। यहां शान्तिदायक ब्रह्माण्ड तभी होगा जब इनका संतुलन बना रहे और ये प्रदूषण आदि दोषों से पृथक रहें। इस प्रकार यजुर्वेद पर्यावरण के महत्व पर उपदेश करता है। इस वेद में अनेक विषयों का उपदेश है, जैसे औषधि शास्त्र का "सुमित्रिया न आप ओषधयः सन्तु"- ऋ.6.22 आदि। गुरुत्वाकर्षण सिद्धान्त पर, जैसे - आकृष्णेन रजसा वर्तमानो..-ऋ.33.43 आदि। कृषि विद्या पर भी कृषन्तु भूमिं शुनं - यजु.12.69 आदि अनेक मन्त्र हैं। पशुपालन और गौरक्षा का "यजमानस्य पशुन् पाहि"-यजु.1.1 आदि मन्त्रों द्वारा उपदेश हैं। गणित विद्या पर "एका च मे तिस्त्रश्च मे तिस्त्रश्च." यजु.18.24 आदि मंत्रों द्वारा उपदेश है। यजुर्वेद के 18वें अध्याय में अनेक खनिजों के नामों को बताया गया है। प्रस्तुत भाष्य महर्षि दयानन्द सरस्वती रचित है। इस भाष्य में ऊपर वर्णित सभी विषयों के अतिरिक्त अन्य विषयों का भी समावेश है। यह भाष्य निरुक्त प्रक्रिया से सम्पन्न विज्ञान और दर्शनों की कसौटियों पर खरा उतरता है। जहां अन्य भाष्य केवलमात्र कर्मकांड युक्त है, वहीं ये भाष्य लौकिक, अलौकिक आदि ज्ञान-विज्ञान से युक्त है। इस भाष्य में व्यवहारिक ज्ञान की प्रचुरता है। भाष्यकार ने भाष्य अर्थ प्रमाण की दृष्टि से निरुक्त, अष्टाध्यायी, तैत्तिरीय संहिता, शतपथ ब्राह्मण का प्रमाण दिया है, जिससे भाष्य की शैली की प्रमाणिकता सिद्ध होती है। सभी मन्त्रों का उत्तम और जीवन में उपयोगी विषयों के अनुरूप यह भाष्य है। इस भाष्य के अध्ययन करने पर आप स्वयं कह उठेंगे कि "सर्वज्ञानमयो हि सः। यजुर्वेद का विषय केवल कर्मकाण्ड ही नहीं है, बल्कि इसमें वर्णित है अध्यात्म एवं दर्शन, सृष्टि-रचना तथा मोक्ष, नैतिक तथा आचारमूलक शिक्षाएं, मनोविज्ञान बुद्धिवाद, समाज दर्शन, राष्ट्र भावना, पर्यावरण का संरक्षण। काव्य तत्व के अतिरिक्त यजुर्वेद में विद्यमान है, विश्व मानव की एकता जैसे उपयोगी विषय।
